Kjeld Hansen

Kjeld Hansen was born in 1919 in Falster, Denmark. In 1938, Hansen, attended art school in Copenhagen. Hansen’s early work was largely representational, but grew more abstract in the 1950s and 60s. He exhibited in Oslo, Norway, Copenhagen, Denmark and Lund Sweden. He was active with the Danish Artists Association annual exhibitions. In the United States, he exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum. In 2012, he died in Denmark at the age of 93.
