Erdix Tenney Wilson

Erdix Tenney Wilson was born in Harwick, VT in 1831. Wilson was both a professional photographer and a fine artist. He lived his adult life in both New Hampshire and Vermont. Wilson is best known for his landscape paintings of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Wilson is associated with the White Mountain School of artists, in the tradition of the Hudson River School. In 1901, He died in Barton, VT at the age of 70. One of his paintings is in the collection of the Smithsonian, Washington, D.C.
