Frederica Ritter Cutcheon

Frederica Cutcheon was born in Ramsey, MN in 1904. She studied at the University of Wisconsin, the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and at the Académie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris. Cutcheon worked for the WPA in Wisconsin and was a member of the Wisconsin Art Association, with whom she exhibited. Besides being a fine artist, she had her own portrait photography studio in Madison, WI. In 1983 at the age of 79, Cutcheon died in Madison, WI.
