Louis Brunt was born in East Liverpool, OH in 1882. He studied at the Carnegie School of Art in Pittsburgh, PA and the Art Institute of Chicago.

He worked for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Milwaukee and worked there as a landscape and seascape painter for over 20 years.

Brunt Exhibited in Milwaukee, Cleveland and Akron during the 1930s and 40s.

He died in Milwaukee in 1961.
