Robert Patterson

American, 1898 - 1981


Robert Patterson studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. A member of the American Society of Illustrators, he is best known for his various artistic styles which he learned from teachers such as Pierre Brissaud, Carl Erickson, Ralph Barton and others.

His works were published by numerous national magazines such as Vogue, McCall’s and Cosmopolitan, among others.
