William Buxton was born in Appleton, WI in 1935. He studied art at the Layton School in Milwaukee, WI. He has exhibited at the Oshkosh Museum, Oshkosh, WI, the Wustum Museum in Racine, WI, including one-man shows at Lawrence University and Ripon College, among others. His work can be found in the Museum of Wisconsin Art, West Bend, WI.
