These works highlight the artistic movements of Urban Realism through Abstract Expressionism. Many of these artists were associated with the noted School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and the New Bauhaus/Institute of Design (ID).

Richard Norton Gallery specializes in important paintings, drawings and sculptures of the Twentieth Century. Founded in the year 2000, the Gallery emphasizes Modern works of art, exhibiting historical examples of Cubism, Regionalism, Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism.
